Frequently Asked Questions

Trusted For Our Knowledge & Experience

Below are the most Frequently Asked Questions of the ‘Kneed for Physio’ membership site.

I would really love you to join but it is important that all your questions are answered in advance to ensure you fully understand what the platform is about and ensure it is the right fit for you.

Here are some thoughts on the type of person we believe will benefit most from this platform:

  • You are committed to the long-term goal and are not expecting instant results.

  • You understand that to return to your desired physical goals and regain the confidence you have in your knee happens through the application of process and patience over time.

  • You are willing to ask questions, no matter how silly they may feel.

  • You are interested in building a genuine relationship with us and other members over time.

  • You will commit at least 30mins a day in the early stages to take action and do the work needed to achieve your goals. The time applied can then vary after 2-3 months as the objectives change.

  • You recognise the value in face to face appointments and will still commit to these as well as the professional help provided specific to your needs.

Kneed for Physio will not work for you if:

  • You are expecting miracle results in 1 month.

  • You would prefer to take a passive approach to your recovery. Watching videos and reading resources will not see results. The work must be done.

  • You only want 1:1 coaching and support.

  • You don’t see Knee for Physio as an investment in your health.

  • You want short cuts and a accelerated recovery programme.

If you are happy with the above then please do read further to seek answers to any further questions you may have.

We know the commitment is tough, but we also know how truly essential it is. Through this platform we therefore aim to make this as easy as possible for you. We are bringing the tools, resources and support to your home.

  • Arthroscopic (or Key hole) knee surgery that includes:

    1. Removal or repair of the meniscus (a type of cartilage in your knee)
    2. Microfracture procedure (used to stimulate the body to grow new cartilage in an area of wear and tear)

What makes this platform so valuable compared to online videos that I might be able to find for free?

This platform is more than a bank of invaluable information. It is specifically designed to help guide you step by step through the process required to fully recover from knee surgery. This includes preparing you for surgery right through to return to sport (or whatever your goal may be).

Davina is the founder of the programme and she has 18 years of experience as a physiotherapist. She a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy and a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine. She has worked in some of the best sports medicine clinics in the country as well as in sporting professions and she has treated 100s of people that have received knee surgery returning them to skiing, running, netball, rugby to name just a few high level activities as well as those that desire a knee that supports those simple activities we so often take for granted. After 10 years in London and successfully creating her own business she really knows her stuff.

In addition to Davina this programme is also filled with other experts in this field. They are carefully selected for their exceptional knowledge of knee surgery and their value in the recovery process. There are also plenty of interview with those that have personally been through the process.

Davina is highly approachable and down to earth. Her commitment to her patients has always gone way above what is usually expected and she is exceptionally skilled at keeping things clear and simple. Davina can relate to those of all ages and from any background. She may be firm but only cause she wants the best for you. You really hit gold when working with her. But don’t take our work for it! Read the testimonials doted around the website.

Please pass the below link to others that are interested in joining:

Do I need to sign or commit to a contract?

Not at all. This is a hassle-free membership site. Join and cancel whenever you want to.

Can I become a member for 1 month and then cancel?

We HIGHLY recommend that you don’t join for just 1 month. Kneed for physio is for individuals that are really committed for the medium and long term. It is the only way to achieve best outcomes.

We prefer you don’t join the site if you plan on only joining for a month.

Do I have to have seen a healthcare professional face to face to join the site?

Not at all. This is why this site has been created. We do HIGHLY recommend that you still go to your NHS appointments or invest in some private sessions to assist the process as this does have an important role especially in the early stages. Your recovery and personal details will also differ to others so this bespoke service is very valuable. Kneed for physio helps bridge the gaps no matter how big or small.
